Geometry Wars Galaxies for the noughties adds a Campaign mode to the original blueprint, along with new multiplayer modes. Geometry Wars Galaxies new missionbased campaign enables players to embark on actionpacked quests across the galaxy, defending solar systems one by one, and beating off waves of alien enemies on instantly recognisable to GM veterans at least and brand new, neverseenbefore Battle Grids. The control system has been optimised for the DS, enabling players to use the stylus and touchscreen to execute moves the likes of which have to be seen to be believed. Play modes include Single Player Campaign, in which you can unlock medals and planets and make further progress in the game. Retro Evolved mode enables you to take on the classic Geometry Wars infinite shooter. There is also a multiplayer option in the original and Evolved modes, the former including Versus, Coop and Simultaneous options Owners of both the Wii and DS versions of Geometry Wars Galaxies can also download the full version of Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved via GameShare and unlock bonus content.
